"Buddha" is a title rather than a name. It originates from Gautam Buddha, the originator of Buddhism. Living 2,500 years
ago, Buddha searched to find the meaning of life. His journey found a state of being, "enlightenment", which he would teach
to others as he traveled through northern India.
Buddhism is a way of finding inner peace. Buddhists develop inner peace, kindness and wisdom through daily life, openly
sharing their experiences with others. They strive to live peaceful lives that will someday lead to purity and happiness
among all people.
Buddhism does not believe in a Superior Being that created and rules the universe.
After death a Buddhist's mind will leave the body and enter into a special sate where simple truths will become seeded.
Once the mind is ready it will leave this state and enter a newborn body.
