Do those with children think and act the same as those without? Of
course not. As soon as children enter a life there is a change to
the decision making and lifestyle of the parents.
The parental status culture group also contains distinctions for
those that want children yet are unable to have them. A growing
number in this category has created a unique culture in many
locations.
We have also seen a separate parental culture develop among
those that have lost a child.
Parental cultures do not have fancy names, instead referred to by
very descriptive terms:
- Adoptive Parents
- Parents of multiple births
- Parents that have lost a child
- Non-parents (and want to be)
- Non-parents (and do not want to be)
